"In the sequence of the 6 elements, the photostatic images of a book opened in progressive moments are almost entirely hidden by a collage, which leaves only a perimeter frame visible. In the first element, a white sheet; in the second, the white sheet is partially covered by a photocopy of 2 pages of text from the same book, applied to the reverse; in the third, the same 2 sheets are torn along the vertical median axis; in the fourth, the sheet torn white that hides the image of the book is half covered by a crumpled sheet, in the fifth, a torn fragment applied to the torn sheet, repeats the shape of the crumpled sheet of the previous element; the last element, finally, resumes the configuration of the first , however, distinguished by the image of the book, open in this case to the last pages.
