How to participate

FIDESARTE TIME THE NEW SYSTEM TO PURCHASE THROUGH A TIME AUCTION.

1. HOW TO SIGN UP
Select a Time Auction from our auction calendar
Sign up if you haven’t already signed up in our website
It is an easy process: you just need to create an account filling out the form with your personal data, send the documents required and the invoice information, and accept our terms and conditions. Once you have signed up you will be able to enter in the section MY FIDESARTE.
The validation of your documents and the possibility of bidding will be confirmed in 24 hours.

Browse our online catalogue

Once the Time Auction is online, you can view the detailed descriptions of the lots, the photos and the situation of each lot, and check if you are the best bidder.
You will then be able to access the system thanks to the username and the password you will have received during the registration process. Once you have signed up, you will be able to bid through the Time Auction system. The system will create automatic emails. Each bid made in the 5 minutes that precede the end of the auction, will postpone of 2 minutes the end of the sale.
Once the auction is over, the winning bidder will receive all the information needed in order to proceed with the payment.

2. BIDS
Next bid and automatic bids
Besides the classic ‘next bid’ you can make a maximum bid, inserting the maximum amount you wish to offer; this amount will not be visible to other partecipants. When you insert a maximum bid the system will automatically create an automatic bid each time another user makes a bid, until the maximum amount is reached.
The bid will be increased only as much as necessary to maintain your position as highest bidder or to meet the reserve price. If another bidder places the same bid before you or a higher maximum bid, the system notifies you so you can place another bid. If your bid is not exceeded before the end of the auction, you will win the lot even if you didn’t reach your maximum bid.
Bids until the end of the sale
Until the auction is over, you will receive email notifications if the situation of the lot changes. As many bids are placed the day the auction ends, we advise you to check the online catalogue, so as to avoid losing the lots you are interested in. If you are unable to do so, we advise you to insert a maximum bid, as explained before.

From your private area MY FIDESARTE you will be able to check your bids any time.

3. PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
If you are the winning bidder, immediately after the auction ends we will first send you a congratulations email to confirm your purchase, then the invoice and the payment information. We wish to remind you that a buyer’s premium of 23% will be added to the hammer price, as written in our Terms and Conditions that each floor or online bidder will have previously read and accepted.
Each purchased lot will be sent only via courier.
All lots can be picked up at our warehouse in Mestre ,Venice – Italy Via Padre Reginaldo Giuliani 7 Opening
hours 9.30 – 12.30 / 15 – 19 from Tuesday to Saturday (winter time opening)
From Monday to Friday (summer time opening) A shipping service with favourable costs has been prepared specifically for you (package, shipping costs and all additional costs are at your charge)
